Orchard Arts Day Trips

In The Orchard Programming for the Arts is proud to announce the launch of a brand new program for our studio and the Niagara Region - "Orchard Arts Day Trips". Schools from across the entire province can book a day trip with In The Orchard that includes a wonderful walk through a local farm / orchard where the children are encouraged to pick fruits and an arts & crafts session back at the studio.

Students are first brought to a local farms where they receive a tour led by a farmer and our arts instructors through the the beautiful, open landscape. The students are then given the opportunity to pick raspberries, cucumbers, sweet cherries, soy beans, concord grapes and more.

Later in the day, the students return to the art studio where they create various art pieces that symbolize and commemorate their experience.

The day trips are fun, informative and immersive. The entire experience is about exposing young minds to the value and importance of protecting the environment.

There are two different Orchard Arts Day Trips, depending on the season.

Orchard Blossoms Arts Tour -
May & June

Orchard Arts Harvest Program -
September & October
